With the tan you live more

A tan is healthy. One U.S. study finds that sunlight would reach more benefits than disadvantages. A little more of the sun could in fact help us live longer; prevent some types of cancer and heart disease. He says the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

While many studies have shown that a long, prolonged sun exposure increases the chance of contracting a skin cancer, according to this research, everything is nothing but the truth. The sun is the main source of vitamin D for humans. It was also highlighted as a significant amount of vitamin D protects against melanoma skin cancer and other forms of cardiovascular disease. But how can a greater exposure to the sun result in net benefits to health?

Researchers have studied different populations exposed to different latitudes and the results were surprising: the populations from the skin and hair are very clear, belonging mostly to northern Europe as Scandinavia or the United Kingdom have a greater spread of melanoma and the percentage of vitamin D the skin is less with an increase of tumors in other parts of the body, moving from north to south, the situation is improving gradually.

These data indicate that increased sun exposure can lead to improved cancer prognosis and, possibly, give more benefits to health than has been believed until now. Obviously remain unchanged tips to follow for normal sun exposure: an exposure phase, a diet rich in vitamins and minerals to combat the aging of the skin, proper skin care products and especially common sense!
