Italians do it better. About garlic?
Posted by admin in Healthy Tips on April 9th, 2009
According to a special aired on the BBC in London during the broadcast “The Truth about food, the aphrodisiac properties of garlic would be such as not having anything to envy to the already tested Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. It does not matter if our love wills pestilential breath.
The documentary is based on research, according to which ingest four cloves of garlic per day for three consecutive months would have therapeutic effects on ‘impotence in men especially when older men are being affected, with problems of high cholesterol. It is not however know if the garlic has real power to defeat the impotence. What is certain and this is perhaps the real news is that after the airing of the special, the sale of the bulb, supposed, aphrodisiac in Britain has increased by over 30%.
But there’s more. Someone has suggested that given the massive consumption of garlic on our tables (estimated around 50 million kg per year on a national basis), research unravel the mystery of the (alleged this one?) Extraordinary sexual prowess of the male Latin. Moreover, not without a touch of pride, Coldiretti said the news underlined the pregiatezza the many varieties of garlic produced in Italy and exported around the world. Always from Coldiretti the news arrives that the famous red onion Tropicana contains nitrous oxide, which is the active ingredient of the “blue pill”. (!). How to say … Italians love exported (!).
If the research data were confirmed this would tend at least a threefold effect: the marketing of a revitalization completely free of side effects and, therefore, accessible to all, a scientific explanation for the world-renowned Latin lover, and the soaring sales of garlic. This certainly would be in addition to the unexpected high number of men with bad breath, but in the end. Just do not breathe!
